It's pretty easy to unlock. OP just needs to call AT&T, let them know he got a new phone and ask to have this one unlocked. I did it with my Iphone 4. Took about 5 minutes on the phone with AT&T:happy0180:

Thats not gonna work. This isn't a carrier lock problem. It's a device difference problem. The AT&T iPhone is GSM chip version. The Verizon ones are CDMA. No chip.
