Disappointed to see that the HU model number has changed. I believe MY13 is FA601US. That speaks negatively to the prospect of having a firmware update to add Aha! to existing MY13 cars.

First '14 deliveries will happen in October most likely. It's what my dealership said about the '14 FR-S's as well.
And as far as the torque dip is concerned, most likely not. If it is, the fix will be given to '13s as well with a simple ECU update.

Can the torque dip be fixed with software? It seems like the dip fix would require more of a change in physical components (headers, cams, etc.).

^Huge threads on the torque dip. Search is your friend. Let's keep this thread ON topic (for a change).

Bill - 2014 BRZ Pricing / Ordering haven't even been made available yet so I wouldn't expect deliveries before the 4th Quarter (Oct-Dec).

Hopefully Subaru offers an Aha radio upgrade for the BRZ's like they are doing with the Legacy/Outback's. 2013 Legacy/Outback owners that do not have Aha radio can upgrade to the Aha Audio unit for $100.00 if they want to add it.

Isn't the headunit in the 2013 BRZ the same as the 2013 Legacy/Outback one?

But to answer your question any how its a combination of physical and ECU tune factors

Nope, the Legacy/Outback unit is completely different, it's sculpted into the dash, not a DIN unit.
