BRZ at UMass Amherst Auto Show 4/21

I confirmed yesterday with Subaru of New England (SNE) that the BRZ will be at the UMass Auto Show on Sat 4/21 in Amherst, MA.

There will be 600-750 cars and various events throughout the day. It's free to attend.

See more at http://umasscarshow.com.

A big thank you goes to SNE for making this possible!

Thanks for the heads up Deslock. I don't know if I'll be able to make it unfortunately.

Yeeeaaahhh, I'm going, but the BRZ is a huge bonus.
Nice to know so thanks dude.

Dudes, I'm thinking about going with my friends this weekend!
Thanks for the heads up, Deslock.

Just call in sick or use a free day if your place has that. :iono:

The BRZ looks good in white.

Also, kudos to the cops for agreeing to let us dyno one of the Chargers, which BTW made 250 HP :D

Turbowned 04-21-2012 05:51 PM

Welp, I'm no longer afraid of the Charger Po'.

UMass must be pissing money to put fancy wheels like that on their mall-cop cars.

Yes, looks terrific in that photo - is the color balance there about what you saw in person?

I was also at the UMass car show today and I'm glad I decided to go. After looking at the black, red and dark grey versions I was a little on the fence on SWP, which is what I pre-ordered. However, after seeing it in person I am SO GLAD I went with SWP. It is so nice when you see it in person and in the sun!

I think the BRZ stands on its own and does not need a flashy color to bring any added attention. SWP brings a sense of luxury and sophistication to the car. Very classy!

Also, this was the first time I've seen a premium trim in person. I'm also glad I went with the limited model. Don't get me wrong, the premium is still very nice, but the leather seats, climate control and keyless entry are very nice interior features and the fog lights and spoiler add to the sleekness on the exterior. However, I really think you can't go wrong either way.

p.s. My two year old son absolutely LOVED the car and called it his favorite new Subaru and said he can't wait to go for a ride in daddy's race car....LOL.

That is my sense too based on the best photographs I have seen. DGM looks extremely classy as well under the show lights, but outside - meh.
