I called the folks a while back for a quote. A full detail with an opti coat application will run about $500. I'll wait until my BRZ actually needs a full detail. It will probably be worth it for me since I don't have a garage and have a black car.

If you're not afraid or don't care about scratches then there shouldn't be a need for it.
If you like to keep the car clean. Alternative to it would be waxing the car.

If you willing to drive outside of Sac there's a guy in Belmont who applies a full opticoat to the car. He did a damn good job of it. Took care almost to all the swirls whatever is left on the car. Look so silky smooth! It made washing the car so much easier in my own opinion. I had gotten keyed too on the front hood. Definitely worth it. http://autosalonworks.blogspot.com/2...phalt-frs.html is the link filled with pictures of my car that he did to along with profile of other cars he has done. Great guy.

Thank you all never owned a brand new car before already got a couple scratches and I have less then 5k on it =( But I wash my car weekly and making it easier to wash would be nice. How much did you pay for the full Opti coat at the autosalonworks?
