A few night shots at the track...

Brakes are AP Racing Sprint with Carbotech XP12 pads

More evident gradient on the brakes here, showing how effectively and quickly the brakes dissipate heat!

HOT stuff! lol

Needs some rear bias--almost looks like all front bite!

It's hard to get the rear hot enough when all the weight is in the front!

It doesn't help that we're running the AP Racing sprint kit.

On a side note, bias doesn't REALLY matter if you're not using the pedal dance; EBD redistributes braking force anyways...

Has anyone made a serious hardcore track only FRS/BRZ? If so I would love to see what someone would do with carbon-ceramic discs and pads.:confused0068:

Like I said hardcore  , but I think with aftermarket disc rotors and pads, if it had some sort of cooling ducts they would be fine, at least enough to fend off some brake fade.

Well, there are Ohlins suspension for it that will run you $5k. That's pretty hardcore, so a matching braking system probably isn't that far off.

Yea but you have to be hitting some pretty serious speeds to get the brakes to temp if they were carbon ceramic.

I thought you had neons there for a second.

Most tracks in the States you don't have a long enough straight, but at my local track, the front straight I would clock 140+mph before having to brake into turn 1.
