@krayzie
I've complimented a japanese tourist on his red white and blue new balances when he was visiting the states. They were niiiice. Also wondering, which NB in your collection is the best for driving? Guessing the 996 because of the sole. Whats the opinion on the 1300? |

I don't wear running shoes to drive ever (my primary driving shoes are Geox Xense Mox and Asics Budokan). Likewise I don't wear driving shoes to walk long distances. None of the NBs are any good for driving due to them being running shoes with overly thick outsoles (no pedal feel and impossible to heel and toe well, don't believe everything you see on Initial D). I paid good money for the BRZ so I'm not prepared to wear the wrong shoes to spoil a well connected driving experience. IMHO get the right tools for the right job. As for NB sneakers, 1300JP is my favorite and it's the grail collectible for most people. The quality of the nubuck upper construction is quite high along with a Vibram bottom. I'm on my 2nd pair (had a pair from 2010 and now 2015) but cleaning them is a real bitch! 1400SB is my other favorite model. They both have a fairly wide toe box being JDM. I don't run in them just for walking or occasionally chasing down the bus. 996 is lightweight and fairly good quality with a lower price point so its value is hard to beat. If you want something more rugged try a 576 or 577 (they were originally designed for trail running). |
Just found this thread, so I'm gonna bump it with my last pickup

While I'm here, back-in-the-day, we had two kinds of tennis shoes ....... the white ones were worn by the rich kids ...... the black ones were worn by the poor kids. Anybody remember those days ...... ?? humfrz |
One pair of vans would be sufficient to me for at least a year. Up until last year my friend introduced me to Adidas Boost....

The web now has been taken over by bots, and stores have been taken over by backdooring and fake raffles. I think resellers have totally destroyed this so-called "sneaker game" for a lot of real fans that just want a pair to wear. The retailers really should at least go back to pre-ordering. |
If you compare sneakers with other types of shoes, then this is probably the best option. I do sports, so I often go in sportswear. It also means I'm always wearing sneakers. Even in my normal time from training, I wear yeezy sneakers, just because it's very comfortable. You can also walk in other shoes, such as sneakers or shoes, but you will not get such convenience as in sneakers. If you are looking for sneakers, but do not know what to pay attention to, then Give preference to branded sports shops, not markets. There you can buy high-quality shoes, sewn to all standards and designed to be worn around the city and rough terrain.
