Looking for sponsorship in Orlando, FL
Hey all, I'm a newbie to this forum. I have searched both online and on this forum to see if I can score leads for potential sponsorship of my FRS. I frequent a lot of tourist areas because of my work and consider it can be great exposure for a shop. Where can I find or how can a shop find me?:thanks:

Sponsorship does not come easy. Being in the right places is not all that it takes.
Typically you need to already have a great reputation in the community. Those few who do get a sponsor, it is not by chance. - You need to be extremely active in the community for your vehicle or a specific product line. - You need to be not just going to car shows, but competing and placing to get the attention of potential sponsors. - You need to participate in and do well in automotive competitions. Even then, most sponsorships for amateurs are partial, no free stuff outside of a sticker or 2. There is no special application form or try-outs, it is for those who have proven themselves in their community, and have already developed a great relationship with potential sponsors. |

Gotta echo what Mister said. Its not something that you can seek out. I have a sponsor in another hobby i am active in and its not something i tried to get. i love the hobby i put lots of time and effort in and it showed and i am extremely active so they came to me not vice versa.

Sponsorship doesnt work like that. Manufacturers, Shops, Brands & Retailers have no trouble finding cars to sponsor. There needs to be a return on the investment for the sponsor.
That being said, we do offer significant discounts on parts to those who rep our company, but youll need to have a huge network and be able to make a big impact to secure a real sponsor. |

Might want to check your headlight fluid while you're at it  |

This sticker is dangerous and inconvenient, but I do love Fig Newtons.

no sarcasm here, but if it's tourist areas that you're frequenting (vs. car shows, races etc), your local pizza joint, tourist attraction or energy drink company would probably be more interested sponsors.
