I think I"m there too!
I'm torn, I have a crazy busy weekend so I'm not sure if i can make this on Saturday.
I'm about 50/50 between PITL and hitting up BMW on Sunday at the Powerade center. |
No dice for me. I'll be at the TLMC double header weekend August 10th and 11th though...
Looks like i should be able to make it out. I just hope the weather cools down or it'll be another scorcher like the last event.
I hope the thunderstorms they've been calling for all week don't finally show up tomorrow...
Can't wait for tommorow!
Just saw this post today. Can i just show up and pay whatever fee to attend todays event?
Id like to try out my car. Lol I know this is late but figured id ask |
^ Definitely.
And it looks like the crazy rain has passed, so it should be a perfect day. |
ProjectD awesome to meet you. What a radically awesome sunny day to battle the cones!!! Had a great time w all the friendly ppl!
what a great day, couldn't ask for better weather.
course definitely favored cars with more power, had to go down into 1st in 2 parts just to have enough acceleration to get a decent time. |
I would say it was more a gearing thing than power, especially on the 2nd/"right" half of the course (the part I didn't design :bellyroll:). I had issues with that hard left before the right towards the bottom light pole - just couldn't get my entry or exit correct all day. Believe it or not, that left cone was actually 4 feet or so to the right so it was way tighter before I moved it. Should have moved it in another 4 feet, haha.
