The big three in Japanese Imports: R34 Skyline, MKIV Supra, and the FD RX7. Sub-Zero.

I would say sub-zero because of styling, performance, and innovation. It's a Japanese icon and the best car Mazda ever made in my opinion.

Sub zero. It goes down as one of the all time legendary Japanese sports cars. It had reliability issues and poor mileage but it will remain one of the all time best chassis ever produced.

It would have got a "sub-zero" from me if it wasn't for the rotary. Just not a fan.

Sub-zero, there's nothing about these cars that isn't bad ass.

Well except for the reliability, but that doesn't factor into car-love, just look at all the Alfa fanatics.

Meh, I'm on my second RX7, my first one pushed 190k before it started to give. No replacement for proper maintenance. FD still looks modern despite being almost 15 years old.

Sub-Zero wins

(edit: I take a midlife crisis owners over the cars that devalue and end up in the hands of highschool drama-queens any day.)

I had two RX-7's go well over 100K miles on the original engine, transmission, etc. I had to replace things like water pumps, clutch, etc.

That said I knew guys who took good care of their RX-7's and they had issues. RX-8 had issues in cold weather states.

Hey wait, I resemble that remark! OK, I'm past the "going through" and at the "been there, done that" stage, so is that better.

Ive wanted one for a long time. I really should have bought one and a second car instead of the BRZ but I wanted reliability.

I WILL have one once I get over this jobless-disease and get my debt cleared back out.

Loses the sub-zero and gets a cool because of the mythical spinning triangles, but in every other way is sub-zero.

GH05T 07-18-2013 06:58 PM

Rotary engine= Dorito spinning

It's hard to believe that a 92 (in Japan) model Mazda still looks modern, over 2 full decades later.
