My dealer knows when I walk in the door that I know exactly what car I want. That I want a VIP program sale and I want the Subaru Guaranteed Trade In. So far they have treated me just fine and if I catch them in a "lie", I call them on it and I have.

The job of the car salesman and car dealer is to sell you a car, that's it. Just because they sell cars does not make them car enthusiast. There knowledge is in the sale, not the product. Always research the car, incentives, and financing heavily before deciding on a purchase. This ensure you understand 100% of what your getting, even though the salesman may not be very knowledgeable.

Maybe my dealer wasn't as off as we thought he was:

Tada confirmed to Drive he is already developing the concept for a successor, and hinted that it could be a radically different car, potentially dropping the boxer engine altogether - which raises questions about Subaru's involvement and whether there will be follow-up to the sister BRZ.
