I paid a little over $40 for this model on ebay. I haven't put together a model car since I was 16 years old - and it shows. Kind of looks like it got rear ended. It was fun to put together, though....oh, and no engine!!

I guess so - no mention of the engine in the directions - no parts either. It's a really detailed model. In the directions, it said to assemble the front and back bumpers to the body, then marry it to the interior/frame. I would have done it differently - marry the body to the interior/frame, and then add the front and back bumpers. It was a bitch to get that thing married the way they said to...

That was the first release of the kit. The following releases do have the engine. Cost way more though.

I sooo badly want a 1:18 scale BRZ in black but the only one I can find is right hand drive and I live in Canada. Bummer.
