Popping sound when parallel parking
 

I was hoping I would never post in the section of the forum but here I am...

I noticed the problem about a week ago, anytime I'm parallel parking or backing in to a spot I get this intermittent "pop" while turning the steering wheel. The sound is coming from the driver side wheel.

Does not happen all the time, but its annoying. I checked under the car and wiggled the drivers side wheel up and down, side to side and it was solid.

Any ideas?

Guess its time to call the dealership.

I had a similar issue where the splashplate was incorrectly fastened (no idea how) and was rubbing against the steering rack when I cut hard left/right. I could have sworn it was coming from the wheel wells.

Thanks, sounds like I might have the same issue. The car is way to new to be experiencing suspension problems, so its possible I could be experiencing what you've been through.

Either way take it to the dealer, if it is suspension then it could make for a bad time.
