Drift-Office : "AVO 300"

Here's something that was done prior to 86 EXPO this year... After the kit install was completed, the car was packed up an hour later and it drove all the way down to Las Vegas, NV where in the 110+ degree heat, endured the crappy 91 octane gas, subjected to all sorts of back to back test drives and drove all the way back, without missing a beat (or leaking anywhere!) Not sure how many other aftermarket FI options there are out there that have done that TWICE now and without issue, but I digress.

Anyway, Disclaimer : Work-In-Progress

Current Specs :

AVO TurboWorld Turbo Kit for the FRS / BRZ / GT86
6MT Transmission
STOCK OEM Injectors
8 PSI Actuator w/ Electronic Boost Solenoid
Drift-Office Custom ECUTEK Calibration
AVO Clutch & Flywheel
AVO Uprated Fuel Pump
AVO 2.5 Inch Overpipe, Front Pipe & Exhaust
AVO Blow Off Valve
TSW 18x8.5 Wheels

Just so we're all on the same page, there's no question that the AVO kit can get to the 300WHP mark. It's really a question of the quality of gas, time spent on the dyno tuning and ultimately, your tuner's ability. Understand that this isn't something an E-Tune can do for you since there's so much that needs to be monitored ON SITE that to do so would be really a liability for someone who wants their cake and eat it too. :)

Anyway, here's some info for those so inclined ~

150#s of TQ @ 2700 RPM
200#s of TQ @ 3500 RPM
>200#s of TQ from 3500 ~ Redline, Peak @ 5500RPM / 255#s TQ
Peak Power @ 7000 RPM @ 300WHP

Thanks.

WOW! If there was an install/tuner near me I would be all over an AVO kit.

:happy0180: congrats on the numbers...

owner must love the way the car feels now

Shit Luck 07-12-2013 09:51 PM

That's why we call it "Work-In-Progress." Stay tuned for sure! :)

I am thinking this is the route i am headed that is why i am curious. i want to break 300 and not be on the ragged edge of the fuel mixture.

zuldajin 07-12-2013 09:56 PM

Wow... now your car's even faster than when I drove it last week!

Not long before you make another post title'd "AVO 320" right Bob? :)

Well, I'm just going to keep to the "AVO 300" moniker. People are already confused with this Stage 1 / Stage 1.5 business! :)

Wow, this is exactly what I want.

JackSmiley 07-12-2013 10:31 PM

Aaaaww...no flames shooting out the exhaust this time. Good numbers, Bob! And it seems this kit is very reliable.
