Gear and shift knob vibration and grind

Hey guys,

Sorry for having a vague topic. I don't know how to describe this but I was shifting from second to neutral. However. I somehow got my shift knob caught to a zone where It needed to be push into neutral but I let out the clutch half way thru the engagement point already. It made a somewhat loud grading sound and strong vibration of shift knob. Should I get it checked out. Would it hurt my transmission badly?
Thanks in advance!!!:burnrubber:

sounds like you just grinded a gear... nothing major...unless you just want to take it in to your dealership.
