suspension suggestions please
 

I'm trying to decide between getting koni yellows with swift springs,or some coils i unfortunately dont have a large budget and would like to get the best comfort and response for the money.I do mostly daily driving and would like a 1" drop but keep getting told coils are the way to go.adjustability is not a huge factor for me since I know how much I want to drop it.how much would I have to spend on coils to get the same or better performance that i would from the konis?and suggestions would be helpful,suspension. Is not my expertise obviously.

I have the swift/koni combo and I love it. To get the same amount of performance from a coilover wouldnt be hard, coilovers are cheap these days. I strongly believe the difference is durability and longevity. Ive been working with koni's for few years now on and had no doubts thats what I was going to use on my daily car.

If you are happy with drop of the swifts and dont care to much for the adjustability of coils then go for the koni/swift combo.

Alright sounds good most of the coils in my range are like stance,Megan,and tein street basis ,or maybe fortune auto.and am not to sure of the durability of them or performance.so I'll see what other info I get and keep stay open minded thank you

If I were to lower my car for the least amount possible, it would be RCE Yellows. Use them until your stock struts blow and then get some Koni's.

Look into Racecomp Tarmac Zeros...

RCE Yellows, Whiteline: camber bolts, 20mm front adj bar with adj endlinks, 16mm rear adj bar with adj end links, and stock struts. Car feels great.

Edit: Also the Whiteline COMCs on max neg camber and pos caster.

I really appreciate the suggestions but I've decided on the konis with the swift new question though.Is the spring rate the only thing different between the brz and FRS coils I kind of want the 3.8k in front as opposed to 3k should work no problem right?

Yes. I am running the Swift BRZ springs on my FR-S with no problems.

This sounds like the setup I want to go with. What are your adjustments?

RCE yellows are fantastic unless you require more clearance/adjsutability, or need some serious tools for track use. I have the RCE Yellow "starter kit" and am more than happy with it. I'm only looking at coils now because I need the clearance for big tires.

Camber:
F -2.75
R -2 / -1.6 (no adjustment)
Toe:
0 all around

Sways:
F soft
R soft

Springs and konis are going to be better than any set of coilovers that cost under $2k.

Or you may want to look at the Feal 441's that come with swift springs.

Konis and springs will be more comfortable than cheap coilovers.
