optimal settings for frs bespoke

I was wondering what settings some of you use on your HU that makes the sound quality... :party0030:

SSP: Feel - produces the richest sound

Base: 2 ticks up from middle, I prefer 4 or more ticks up but the right door speaker rattles too much if I do that

Treble: 4 ticks up from middle

Balance: Dead center front/back and side/side

ASL: off - dont need computer leveling off my sounds I like to hear the highs and lows

This is exactly how I have mine except I bounce between 3-4 on bass depending on the quality of the song, etc.

Thanks for sharing everyone! I've been having a hard time to get the 'optimal' settings. I'll try out the recommendation above.

ASR (Auto Sound Retriever)

ASR sound technology automatically restores the harmonics which were lost during the audio compression process.
ASR adjusts frequency response and sound pressure, especially in the high and low frequency ranges, to revitalise the density and presence of the compressed signal.
The result is an improved sound quality with its staging, density and feeling restored to the level of the original recording.

ASL (Auto Sound Levelizer)

Compensating for additional outside noise, the automatic sound leveliser uses signal processing to automatically and electronically adjust the internal volume so that your music always sounds right.

For lower quanlity sounds (live ones specifically) do you guys recommend turning the ASR to high rate?

f0rge 08-22-2013 11:30 AM

You guys turn the treble UP?

Man the reflections off the windshield are so harsh I can't even handle it, I have my treble set down 2 clicks.

l0aded 08-27-2013 02:39 PM

I like treble +2 and bass +4. No audiophile but I like oversaturated music.

tennisfreak 08-27-2013 06:27 PM

I prefer bass up +4 but I get too many right door rattles if I do that.

Treble is optimal at +2 for music but I turn it up to +4 since I listen to audiobooks (long work commute) and it makes the voices pop more and easier to hear.
