Release series

Just wondering if there are any updates on the release series? Any Toyota people have any word?

:sigh::slap: Delete this thread, then search

I understand that most of the Scion release series will be model year 2014. However, for the FR-S it's model year 2013 and they're already out. A few members here already have them.

p.s. Don't pay attention to the search nazis.

I hardly consider myself a search nazi when (at the time that I replied) there were two different 10 series threads on the first page of the General Forum thread listing. Technically, he didn't even have to search at all! He shouldn't have even had to scroll the page to see one of them.

On topic - some people have received them from port, while others are in one of two camps...Camp A) car is in transit to or already in port and stalled there for any number of reasons (state-side factory options installs and "who the hells knows" are the two most common themes); Camp B) According to dealers, en route to dealerships (which may or may not actually be accurate based on many varying accounts)

TL,DR - A small number have them, a majority of people don't know where the F their car is

O.K., search nazi might be a little harsh but acting like you were a moderator, perhaps you stayed at a Holiday Inn last night. :)

:clap::happy0180:

But since when can only a mod comment on inane, redundant posts? I doubt you want to sift through multiple duplicate threads just as much as me:bonk:

It's not about feeling all high and mighty, but some people just want to be spoon fed everything... the 10 series thread was the 3rd thread in this section before this thread was even made... I mean, come on...

O.K., o.k. We have a lot of young, new members to our forum and there's always a possibility that the new member might be joining his first forum ever. There's always two ways a suggestion can be made. One method is to act 'high and mighty' (therefore the reference to search nazi) and the other method is to be a little more kind and considerate of the individual when explaining to him/her what the search function is and how to use it.

But, this is my opinion only and yours might be different which is o.k.

I would like to say that I know about the 10 series... This is not the release series from what I have been told at my local dealer ship. Thats why I asked. I have searched and I also get annoyed when people ask for threads that I can find when I search for them. But your misunderstanding or my lac of description doesn't warrent a raping by some of you "moderators." A polite answer or a polite question asking me to elaborate would have worked.

If your asking about a Scion FR-S release series because your in Canada, there is info on the 10 Series release car on Scion.ca. Although Scion.ca isn't the best at information, the Release Series has been posted to the front page of their website for over 2 months.

If you are referring to a Toyota GT86 Release Series, closest thing I have heard to this is the GT86 TRD versions that were going to UK, but pretty sure that already happened.

This is why I feel we need a new subsection. Knowledgeable folks who don't mind answering these questions can go and help while others don't have to be bothered. Its the only place that makes nasioc even semi friendly.

If anyone agrees please go to the site suggestion sub forum and comment on my thread regarding the issue

If others agree

Ok. So I must not be clear enough. I am not referring to the series10. I am referring to the release series. I am not convinced that scion won't make one just because of their anniversary. So if some one can prove they aren't making one or can give me any hints as to the possibility and possible timing of said model. I am not mad just annoyed that people seem to think I can use a forum or that I am an idiot.
