Changing out stalks (For foglights)?
Hello guys, and gals! I have a question. I am currently making payments for my car (to build my credit) and i want to buy foglights for my car. (Not the usdm model with the button.) Would changing out the stalks void my warranty? Or would Toyota/ Scion even notice the change? I tried to search this in the search box, but had no results.

Should be fine as long as they can't prove that the install was the cause for a failure.

I am also getting my car next week. I was looking around about the fog light for FRS, I emailed my dealership and asked if they can install it for me, and he said there is no OEM fog light from Scion in Canada right now?? I guess I have to buy aftermarket and install it by myself?

Only if they can prove they prove that was the root cause of what ever problem comes up.
I guess one example could be if you installed springs. If one shock started leaking a few thousand miles later you could still potentially get it warranteed. Now if all 4 started leaking then most obvious cause would be the springs. Keep in mind this is just a really simple example and there are a lot of things that can come into play. There's a law that protects the consumer. Magnuson something I think. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 4 Beta |
I did some thread searching, I know I can get a kit for cheaper price. I just don't have the confidence to install it by myself. I live in Vancouver, just a bit north from you ;)
