Nooooooo...

had my car for almost 8 months, love it, and BANG, it's gone.
The driver in that CR-V ran through the red light, and T-boned my car today :mad0260: She's probably in her 60s - 70s, and her passenger was even older. Both of them were sent to hospital (hope they are ok), and I was walking out of the car fine. Thank you for saving me Toyotaburu. Hope I wont take too much loss on the car.

I have been driving for 14 years and never had any accident (hit or being hit by anything) until today, cursed? And why should senior citizen drive again? Why can't our country provide good public transportation for seniors?

Glad I have an iPad with orientation lock so I could see these pictures right side up :D

Sorry for the crash, hope everyone is ok.

I had a feeling it'd be the curse. :( really sorry man. I went through the curse as well.

Lonewolf 07-09-2013 11:18 PM

Ouch, sorry to hear it.

She ran a red light huh? My first car was totaled when an 80 year old didn't bother to stop at a red light when everyone else did. End result, my back and neck are jacked for life.

Hammer that lady's insurance company...

Clembo 07-09-2013 11:18 PM

Sorry to see that. But I'm a senior citizen the same age, don't lump us all in together. I stop for red lights whenever I can remember what they mean.

Seriously, glad you're OK, car can be fixed. Good luck and I feel your pain. I love mine too.

Mad1723 07-09-2013 11:21 PM

Car is nuts and bolts, that's replaceable. You are a lot harder to fix.

Sucks for the car, glad you made it out in one piece.

Oh, and the CR-V sure delivers... :(

Thx to the car, it protected me and my passengers (I had 2 in my car at the time being hit).

Well, if ever you meet a Toyota or Subaru engineer in a bar (hey, we never know), pay them a beer or ten

probably not beer. not sure what will they do when they get drunk. I like them to be focused next day when working on cars :)

Now you have a concrete example that it works as designed.

New model year coming out shortly 8)

Glad you're OK dude, the cars replaceable you are not. It seems Honda CR-Vs target the senior citizen and young mother market lol. But how are the senior citizens doing? What's there condition?

PStaff716 07-09-2013 11:33 PM

Damn, I hate to see this shit. Especially when it seems like I'm dodging a near accident daily.

Sorry for your loss, dude.

supramkivtt2jz 07-09-2013 11:33 PM

i cant tell from the pics, but it looks as if your car may not be totaled
