Quik detailer

Just bought and tried the best quick detailer yet...
Victoria wax quick detailer is awesome, so much better then meguires, zainos, autoglym or anything from crappy tire (no choice cause i was in the boonies), and more cost effective cause it comes in a fairly large bottle.
Anyone one else tried victoria wax qd yet or anything else i should try after i run out? For use on carnuba wax... Swissvax shield to be exact

I used the 303 Quick Detailer for a bottle, left weird marks when moisture hit it.

Now I am using Optimum Instant Detailer and its fantastic! Actually has a decent smell as well and is a great deal when you use a 32oz concentrated bottle and dilute it 3 to 1.

Been using Griot's Speed Shine for years and love it. Works great on both Mothers and Pinnacle carnauba waxes. Never had a reason to try anything else.

not a big fan of quick detailers. I usually end a wash with spray wax instead (as a drying aid). If the car is dusty, I leave it a day or two and wash it (as opposed to going out there with the QD)

Gary Dean's Infinite Use Detail Juice. Best stuff I've ever used. Use it on all my vehicles in between washes.

Bryan, I've been using QD for spot cleaning (bird shit mostly), should I be using something else?

Prevailing wisdom says you're in the clear...it's infinitely better to spot clean bird droppings on a dirty car than it is to let the doodoo etch it's way in to the clear/paint levels.

I use the qd as the drying aid little lube for my paranoia of scratching the paint... Didnt really like the quick spray wax as it seems to make my paste wax not as shiny but the victorias qd made it better...

Shouldnt unless you using some really crappy stuff, its probably your environment, i came from a working town 70% were trucks/suvs and rigs, get out of the car wash cant even make it home without a light layer of dust on the car, moved back to the city and my car still looks decent after a week and it rained a couple times.

Try different wax and qd, i use swissvax and victoria wax qd, both are fn amazing way better then mass market stuff. And for soap victoria wax is fantastic, i never used there stuff b4 i got this car and i am a huge fan, heard great things about there wax too, probably try it after the swissvax.
