How cold is your a/c blowing?

Starting to warm up here in Vancouver, BC. Finally used A/C for the first these last couple of weeks. Even with the A/C set on "low" setting, it's only blowing cool air, barely enough to keep me cool when it's super hot. My RSX used to blow ice cold at the lowest setting. It's definitely working, because if I turn it off, it becomes warm/hot air, I just thought it should be colder than this on the lowest setting...

July has been hot in south TX (100 plus everyday) and mine blows ice cold on lowest setting.

Quit your bitching about the heat in Canada -The South

My A/C is blowing cold air, I can feel my fingers get frostbite if exposed for prolonged period of time..

When my auto A/C is on full, it is uber cold. I have to set my interior temp to about 72 or I freeze (unless it is above 95 degrees out which is rare here). And that is with me only using the drivers side vents.

I would get that checked out..

Ok thanks, that's what I figured, just wanted to check with others before I brought it in.

I would say there's a problem with your a/c. Here in Arizona on the hottest day yet it's not very long after I have my a/c on that I have never had to run the fan speed above #2.

Agreed.. Low 90's here with high humidity.. AC works great and gets cold instantly..
Which is a good thing with raven

Even with it set at 24 Celcius for both zones, it's blowing really cold. It's currently in the 30's in Ontario with ridiculous humidity. Some days it's "Feels like 40C". Even so, the air coming out is dry and very cold. I'd say you have a problem.

If its just starting to warm up outside... Then your fine..
The hotter it gets outside, the more efficient the AC becomes..

Mine isn't that cold either. I can run mine on max with the recirc on for hours and the cabin never gets cold - just comfortable.

I thought it was just a weak AC system to save weight and fuel, but after reading some posts I think I might take it in and get it looked at. I'm also near Vancouver.

Mine is very cold, thankfully... 98-104 degree days!

here in New Jersey we have been having some humid days in the 90's, i have mine on LO at full blast and it just keeps me cool. compared to my old 2005 acura tsx this ac is decent but my tsx ac was amazing. but i am also a big guy and am always hot.

Unfortunately you don't know how heat pumps work, and this is very false.

There is no need to get into a huge discussion about the physics of it, but it's safe to say that if it's less than 35 Celcius outside, and his A/C not blowing very cold air, there is a problem.
