Thanks to our Outstanding Community Members!

As these forums continue to grow we're seeing a lot more general nonsense, flaming and antagonistic posts.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank forum members like Dezoris and SportsGuy who frequently post and share information that benefits the community. People who make a positive impact on a daily basis here need to know they are appreciated and hopeful we can encourage more people to behave this way.

I for one, appreciate the efforts of any member or vender who keep it professional and support transparently sharing information regarding these cars. Coming from the 240sx community, the maturity and professionalism of actual enthusiasts on this bored are what prevent these forums from falling into obscurity.

Thanks guys!

Agreed. I learned a lot about my car even before I receive it officially (Friday can't come soon enough this week!). It's great to see the videos from Dezoris about his experiences with the car. It shows that the car isn't perfect, but that it still is mighty fun. No rose-tinted glasses.

Thanks for all the informations guys, really appreciated :)

^^THIS!!!

The 240 community has changed so much over the past decade. I started following local and international forums like zilvia and numerous others back in like '02 and when I look at it now, I have no idea wtf happened or who 99% of the people are anymore. It's gone so far downhill.

After going between the Nissan/240 community, mazda community, evo community, and subaru/wrx/sti community, this seems to be the best one I have seen yet. So much less bs here, and moderators/admins that actually do a damn good job keeping up with the issues that come up.

Very refreshing to still find that in the automotive community these days.

Agreed i have only seen 2 vehicle specific community with very minimal drama and bs, as well as where every one is helpful wuth issues and great feed back the only other community that comes close is iver at impalaforums.com

So far I have enjoyed my time on the boards. Learned alot about cars and this car in particular. Before this car, I was never really into cars. Now its turned into a love and appreciation for all kinds of cars. Oh yea, my wallet hates the board! :)

Yes, AGREED. Thank you very much.

I've enjoyed my experience here as well, but let's face it.. ~90%+ of the current owners are probably [relatively] mature or disciplined enthusiast owners who have the means, money, and experience to buy these cars BRAND NEW.

But just wait a few years, or after the USED versions of these cars come down in price = the teen-bopping ricers will have a field day and trickle down to this forum as well. An "affordable" mod-happy car like this is a magnet for that crowd.

Let's hope that day is far off in the distant future, but who're we kidding, it's coming... :scared0016:

This is one of the best forums out there not near as much secrecy as others and a relaxed attitude allowing some words to flow. So many other forums I belong to have far too much censorship and superiority it's rediculous really. Keep things the way they are IMO. :w00t:

You're welcome.

Nah, i don't do jack shit around here.

Great post OP! Some may not be aware, but once you sift through all the BS and hate, there is a lot of useful information and knowledgeable people on these boards, and the cars have only been out for a year!

Very well said. I have been a member of this forum for over a year and a half prior to buying my FR-S and with a few minor exceptions (many of whom have thankfully fallen into obscurity or been subject to the ban hammer) everyone has been supportive of questions and general comments. This is a great community and I am surprised when colleagues at work haven't been here. So, I point them here to be a part of the family.

I think DarrenDriven should be on this list as well. Dude knows cars, and he shares a lot of information.

No list necessary, just say thanks in your post!
