Enwave's 2013 BRZ Limited SSM

Figured the build will start soon, so might as well share the canyon drive that I enjoyed this morning...

So far, almost nothing installed at all (K&N drop-in, if that counts... which it shouldn't). Just over 1k miles. Picking up replacement tires next. I want the build to be conservative, mostly OEM+ with some exceptions here and there.

Short-term build plans (in order):

Michelin Pilot Super Sport (225? or stick with 215?) Square
Perrin Black or Nameless Black 5"/2.5" Resonated exhaust and pipes (recommendations?)
TapTurn (I know... but it's SO convenient...)
EcuTek (or Unichip?) tune
Tom's tail lights
STI Lips
STI Push button start

To start us off, I took her up the canyon here in the Provo, UT area to a nice little two-lane canyon road known as the Alpine Loop.

A slightly busy and relatively blind road so I wouldn't say I was able to go all out, but I did give her a good go.

If anyone has little-man syndrome from this car, go try a drive like this and see how you feel...

New mods and a new canyon trip! I'll be updating with pictures again, but the only thing visible right now is the catback...

Unichip EMS
TapTurn Flasher Relay
Invidia Q300 catback

I'm very happy with the catback. It sounds nice and deep, especially on startup -- then growls as you get it into the higher RPM. Best way to describe it is taking the stock exhaust, giving it 4" tips, and dropping the tone. Volume is almost identical to stock, maybe a touch louder.

Decided on the Q300 so I would feel a little better about the volume that will come from headers in the next month or so.

The Unichip is nice as well, removed it for a dealership visit and that is when I really noticed the difference it makes. I may be interested in selling it eventually if I can find anywhere around me that does good EcuTek tunes for the BRZ, but so far I've had a rough search.

And the next canyon trip:

The Mt. Nebo Scenic Bypass

Beautiful, beautiful drive. Anyone making their way through Utah should absolutely do this. A lot of fun in the BRZ too ;)
