I have decided which sub to install and need some recommendation

I was looking for small amount of additional bass in my car, so I chose to purchase [ame="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0085CAYZ6/sr=1-1/qid=1373209946/ref=olp_product_details?ie=UTF8&me=&qid=1373209946 &seller=&sr=1-1"]Soundstream USB-8A[/ame].

Since it's only 150~200w range and a small size unit (3" x 9.5" x 14.5"), should I place this in the backseat or in trunk? I know placing this in backseat will give more sound effect, but I was curious if there isn't much difference in the trunk location.

If there are any other recommendations in this price range (sub $200 including sub/amp), let me know. Also, I am not trying to fill up the trunk space.
