Spoiler Alert! Silva Fight Discussion

I totally think he through that fight, just because in the post fight interview he didnt say he wanted a rematch, and just said he only has 10 fights left but doesnt want to contend for the title and only wants to spend time with family.

Honestly, I really think Silva does not want anything to do with being a Champion anymore considering the post fight interview and all. He's defended the title against future Hall of Famers, and is getting old. The way he lost is more surprising than him losing. He could have at least given us 5 rounds.

Additionally, the question I ask myself is what if Dana had been asking him to retire so the 185 class would get more interesting. Silva kept saying he's not interested in title fights anymore, but is still interested in fighting. He can keep fighting contenders, or not well-known fighters, and get decent pay until he really gets old. I really don't know what to think of it lol. Just speculating.

Nobody would be stupid enough to throw a fight by getting knocked out cold. I could see if he turtled up and the fight was called on a TKO, or if he tapped to a meh kind of submission. Chris beat him, and beat him while he was showboating just like he's done in so many other fights. It caught up with him this time.

I honestly believe Chris Wiedman is a better fighter (at this stage in their careers). He fully deserves the belt.
