FA20CLUB TURBO KIT T3/T4 60

1 Attachment(s)
First off got to say thanks a whole lot to Tony from FA20CLUB. He took out the time on his Friday night to help tune my car. This guy should win a award ,SERIOUSLY. Also i have to thank Dmt or Dynamotorports for installing my kit and for fitting me in their busy schedule. Anyone looking to do work on their car in toronto gta area, id recommend them. They are serious.

Car runs great :burnrubber:and just waiting abit to turn up the power. I did 281 whp with 220 tq on a dynopack. So you know it pushes more. Currently running on 8 psi on 94 octane.
Anyone contemplating the kit i say go for it. Especially with the customer service from Fa20club you just cant go wrong.
BIG UP FA20CLUB AND DYNAMOTORSPORTS
Keep doing it big FA20CLUB

Awesome!

Exact specs on the kit you got through them? Exhaust components? Supporting mods?

sw20kosh 07-06-2013 06:20 PM

:confused0068: 8 psi nice !!!! thats a lot of power to handle! Hope you have sticky rubber!

I bet with that gas you could safely run 12 psi all the time. =) Turn it up!

^^this

your power seems a tad low.. guessing its a conservative tune or no supporting mods..

Im less interested in final number than I am in delta. Could be a conservative dyno, etc...

Man all these fa20club turbo posts are just making me want their turbo more and more. It seems like everyone who gets it has nothing but good things to say about it.

Congrats bro looks awesome.

Haha I would right this moment, but I need to buy myself some suspension and lighter wheels. Can't afford the turbo on top of that at this moment. If I get turbo first it'd be too much for my stockers lol

That's either gonna be really scary or really fun lol

I'm gonna wait a bit, idk what setup I would go with. I've never turboed anything before.

Nah, I'm turbo on stock wheels and tires. It's fun! More grip would be great for racing or whatever, but just driving around every day it's no big deal. Drives like a stock car off boost, and a drift car on boost lol.

i felt like a formula D drifter on my stock tires on the 5psi lol

NP, Jonathan. It was well worth the decision. As far as numbers goes it s going to be higher than what his chart says. he is making more tq than what we did on the same hp level on both the dynapack and VD so this car is kicking ass right now. i could care less what the screen says. i etune using VD for before and after changes and what matters is he picked up 60whp from the base map i sent him and he can still turn it up his octane is amazing i was able to run his tune more aggressively throughout the session from my conservative starting point without crossing the line of danger. the guys from DMT did an great job on the install and working with me logging the runs and getting me screen shots and logs emailed back and forth. i passed out @1am on my couch right after the last map was sent. i started tuning sometime between 8-9pm and ended when i fell asleep @1am. i think i sent about 5 files and power came up on each pull. Tony@DMT knows his stuff i like working with operators who know how to convey info from runs while i etune. they are definitely the place to go to in T-Dot

this was a good starting point. once i finalize my new boost control settings allot of guys will be crossing into new territory. keep in mind i never push any of my tunes to the breaking point i work with what im given. the the car keeps making power safely without knocking i keep going but for the younger guys who want to be able to thrash on the car daily your tune will be more conservative to make identical power. its my personal way of doing things.

this is a service i offer on all my tunes and many have taken me up on this offer. you want a dyno tune just schedule a a session on a local dyno and ill etune your car for no additional charge. thats my little way of giving back after the same.

Any chance of seeing the dyno plot and a boost plot?

FA20Club.com 07-08-2013 12:54 PM

the unit doesnt plot boost and the one you and david are using i have no idea either. david was going to check for you

I have tried calling last week but didn't get the phone answered. (figured he is on vacation). Calling again today, so far no one is answering the phone. I will update as soon as I know.

Not a big deal if it doesn't. Both my AEM Failsafe gauge and EcuTek can log boost. I am just hoping more people are willing to post boost plots so we can see the difference in response of the various turbos.

Pretty sure when I go FI whether it be the Innovative setup or FA20 turbo, I'll be driving down to florida for FA20club to purchase, install, and tune. I've ready many of their posts and their customer service is top notch, and that's the most important thing to me. Congrats on your results and have fun with the new setup!

The process was smooth, and the kit installation was straight forward. It was nice to have full support, and this is probably the best reason go with this kit rather than the other big names out there.

Having emails replied within minutes was a very good feeling, and I give them thumbs up for spending the extra effort in sorting out the tune on a Friday night as well :happy0180:

UnOvertime 07-09-2013 02:45 PM

The more I see of the FA20 setup, the more I want to take the couple hour trip down 95. I want to have more fun on the street and not break the bank. This setup looks ideal for that purpose and the fact they are close and have such good ratings really makes it hard to say no.

86pro 07-11-2013 07:25 PM

Car feels good. Power is there and it's drivable daily. Can't wait to turn up some more but I'm very happy where the car is in performance. Really fun not that it wasn't before but for me I like the potential here going forward. Will post some more stuff as i go along.

I am very impressed with the FA20club kit. For the money and power that seems to come out of it is a good bang for buck option IMO. Now go out and make someone videos in your car so I have something fun to watch:burnrubber:

i agree i have another car so im only using it as my daily to break it in and show ppl what it can do lol :) i will be making videos as i am getting three go pros and prep for the winter as i will be hitting the skid pad and track :) :burnrubber: :burnrubber: :burnrubber:

end goal 500 whp hopefully soon but im very pleased in how the car runs now. Cant really be not happy because this thing feels very safe and very reliable. This current tune is still very conservative. Just going setup another date with tony after some more stuff gets put on like tires vented hood and stuff then we turn up hp.

hey lexusb your ride is sick.

86pro 07-18-2013 04:34 AM

Heres the dyno run with current setup from the tuning we did at Dmt going back and forth with FA20club.

JIZZ!

This is awesome. Can't wait to get to get this kit on my car. Doing the exhaust and clutch to get ready for some power! What are you using for cooling mods? Oil cooler?

Pryz228 07-23-2014 10:53 AM

What are your supporting mods?

First of all: Holy thread revival.

Second of all: Don't buy from Tony. Ever.

Third: Welcome to the forums!

Shady195 07-23-2014 11:29 AM

3rd-4th time I've heard something regarding FA20club and this tony fella. Whats the deal?

Pryz228 07-23-2014 11:31 AM

Thanks ive been doing some research on some different turbo kits to see whats best for me, the avo kit and fa20club both look pretty solid

We need a blacklist vendor + why they are blacklisted thread stickied. if this doesn't already exist

Sportsguy83 07-23-2014 11:40 AM

I sense TROLL

FR-S Matt 07-23-2014 12:05 PM

Just click on vendor review section and read the stickied thread at the top.

Toni is a piece of shit. Bought a tune from him a while back and he didn't do hardly anything for updates to it. Thankfully, had someone clean up the tune and make it even better for me for his mess up. This person that helped me also had his engine ruined by Toni....
