When I see cars like this and the Gazoo Racing 24HR endurance races I cannot help but wonder how they are dealing with the injector seal and axles breakage issues. Hopefully, the factory backed racing efforts will identify the weak links so that the problems can be resolved for the street cars and weekend warriors.

In the first shakedown he'd lift throttle between upshifts, whereas, in the second shakedown it sounds like the driver kept WOT between upshifts. That might be enough to account for the faster time. They didn't go over the changes tuning made nor showed temperatures to compare the less ideal track temperature. This "challenge" is loosely fabricated marketing BS!
