I like this car a lot

RehabJeff86 07-05-2013 11:11 AM

Love how the driver down shift heel toe gear 5-4-3!

autogyro 07-05-2013 11:33 AM

Awesome, hope they can achieve their target!

What's the purpose of the neon green paint at the front?

It seems like the driver was shifting faster in the second shakedown.

m.box.design 07-05-2013 11:51 AM

would be awesome if they released this widebody to consumers.

MadFRS 07-05-2013 12:44 PM

Looks like he wasn't lifting on the second shakedown when he was shifting

I was wondering the same. It's like random blotches of spray paint to differentiate from ver. 1 for artistic flair. lol

In the first shakedown he'd lift throttle between upshifts, whereas, in the second shakedown it sounds like the driver kept WOT between upshifts. That might be enough to account for the faster time. They didn't go over the changes tuning made nor showed temperatures to compare the less ideal track temperature. This "challenge" is loosely fabricated marketing BS!

When I see cars like this and the Gazoo Racing 24HR endurance racers I cannot help but wonder how they are dealing with the injector seal and axles breakage issues. Hopefully, the factory backed racing efforts will identify the weak links so that the problems can be resolved for the street cars and weekend warriors.

im digging the rear under body diffuser

he stays at redline sometimes for a second or two. I spied an oil cooler and wonder if the car has a sequential gear box

Their ECU may be tuned differently even though those cars pretty much have a stock motor. :iono:

Wonder how much wear and tear that does to your transmission/clutch by not lifting.
