Shops in the Queens/ Long Island Area
 

Greetings all,

A complete car noob here and just got my FR-S last week. Love the thing to death especially coming from a 2005 Civic. Brief background about myself: I play paintball every weekend - I guess you can call it a second hobby. I love tinkering with stuff and learning how things work the way it should. I'm almost positive that I will start to tinker with this car and am looking for a reputable and reliable shop I can go to for all my performance and labor needs - more of a long time relationship really.

If anyone can chime in their recommendations, that would be great!

Metric subaru in huntington, the owner also has a performance shop in deer park. theyre the guys on li for subarus

I have been going to Tarmac-SPL in Farmingdale for years now. Hands down the best shop on Long Island in regards to friendliness, reliability and quality of work. They're attention to detail is amazing and the owner of the shop, Damian, treats every car that comes in as if its his own. He used to play paintball religiously as well lol.

I've had a few things done at Real Auto Dynamics (RAD) in Oceanside. Great guys there

468 Power in LI have parts as well as do any labor you need :) Very friendly and good group of guys there...

Do any of these stores do repairs? I was actually thinking of visiting 468 have you actually been to their shop?

Been to, not inside their garage though, they were painting and didnt want dust. Really cool guys though, come thru next weekend and meet em.

Planning to hit that meet and greet next weekend maybe ill stop by their shop too.

No wrenching here but I got you covered on the detailing front as needed. I've done over 10 ft86 club members

My shop is also pretty close to a paintball spot (west babylon)

We are about 30 min from the GWB in NJ, while not a short or cheap ride, we have been in the business for a long time and take care of our customer's cars like our own. Feel free to e-mail or call us even if we can't help you directly we can point you in the right direction.
