Shift Knobs and our Reverse Lockout

I'm looking at swapping out my shift knob for something round and HEAVY. I'm looking at the Flossy heavyweights, the WC Lathe Werks stainless sphere, the TWM M1 Abrams, and the Blox 490.

All are roughly 2" spheres and all weigh somewhere between 460 and 545 grams.

I'd like to have the knob sit as low as possible. What are my options for dealing with the reverse lockout lever?

It looks like with the Blox 490 I'd need to get their adapter which looks like this:

It can be had in black over silver but are there any similar knobs that sit lower and don't need an adapter? This looks like it raises the knob up to do its job...

I'm a little disappointed by this because the Blox 490 Limited in Platinum looks AMAZING.

I'm using the team voodoo shift knob 2in. reverse lockout and everything works without an issue, let me get a pic

I've forgotten what's the weight, but nothing else to compare to, pretty sure it's inline as heavy as the other knobs

I love that knob for the piano black but it's actually similarly weighted to the stock knob based on my reading. It's nowhere near the 500g mark.

TWM has the closest to that in the weight I want but it costs like 4 times as much.

I'm using Blox Racing neo chrome shift knob not sure about the specs though but the reverse lockout works perfectly fine you don't even need that ugly spacer and it can sit very low and nice.

the blox work fine, its just that if you look at it, you can still see the white plastic of the reverse lockout. You can also look at moddiction knows, they're fully counter-sunk i believe.

Plus the engraving is made for a reverse lock-out, just look for one that is compatible with a scion frs and you should be just fine, the reverse lockout pulls up completely fine.

I want to ensure that whichever knob I get that it looks clean. I don't want to see the white plastic of the reverse lockout.

I give out this warning to everyone when dealing with Flossy, unless you're getting a bare bones, non engraved knob, prepare to have the WORST customer service experience. Little to no responses to e-mails, no notification of delays in shipping, e.t.c. Instead of meeting a deadline I gave them, they decided to just refund the money. This was about 4 weeks after my order, and 2 weeks longer than their own estimates.

here is mine T1R.... Hefty price, but fitment is very good and no reverse lockout issues.

Don't know what happened with you, they were extremely quick with me. Answered questions via email within an hour, made changes to my order even after payment was made (switched from bare to engraved). And had the knob in my car within a week. Sorry you had such a problem with your order. Both cars at my house have flossy knobs and neither of them had any issues at all with ordering and look great.

How does your knob look? Been Emailing flossy a little, but I want to make sure that this thing sits like it's supposed to and that I won't see that stupid plastic ring that I see under ones that aren't set up for the reverse lock out.

Agreed 100%

Great product, if they get it right. If they don't... well, don't listen to any promises of a correction.

My ordeal with them lasted months.

Not to dismiss your experience, but, I had a custom engraved grip tape shorty from Flossy fits perfectly, with my short shifter and the bigger lockout, covers everything and service was great.

Two weeks from order to delivery in Australia.
