FR-S VS S2000 on the track - Initial D Style
At my first lapping day of the year with the FR-S I've made this little battle with this little Honda S2000. In fact he passed me after cupple of laps, my brake pads were faded out so I've pulled over.
Surprisingly the S2000 was WOT in the straight and it was damn equal. Before people ask: My FR-S mods: - Perrin Flash - aFe Intake - Nameless Overpipe/Front pipe/Axle back - BC Coilovers - Hawk HP+ Pads all around - Hankook RS3 on stock size Honda S2000 - K&N Intake - No muffler OEM exhaust system - SAFC PiggyBack - Buddy Club Coilovers - Hawk HP+ Pads all aroudn - No Softtop (Roll cage installed) - Dunlop Direzza ZII So enjoy the video! http://neverwinterclub.wordpress.com...fr-s-vs-s2000/ [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v8CBm4zS2Qo"]Never Winter AutoClub - S2000 VS FR-S (The Battle) - YouTube[/ame] |
Damn I loved it! Needs the thought monologues between drivers and you would have killed it lol

Loving the glowing rotors on the S2000 under braking :)

Thanks guys :) Was a blast to drive with a S2000 on my ass!

This is 3 and half minutes.
initial d battles are a full 2, 23 minute episodes! clearly not initial d style.. but cool video! [edit] /sarcasm |

I quite enjoyed that...

Wow that was awesome, the music blended pretty well. I loved the hot rotors and sparks under braking from the S2K
|
Question for you... you said your brake pads got faded... did you both start with brand new hawk brake pads and the S2000 saved the brakes a little better than the FR-S?
|
the s2k fender angle was used a bit too much. could have worked other angles into the video but i like the premise.

I gotta admit, I was expecting this song:

The reason this is concerning is that the fr-s weighs less. So in theory if all other things are equally proportionate, the fr-s should last longer not wear out faster. |
