Helix PP50DSP Plug & Play OEM Sound Upgrade

Anyone look into this yet? I see you can get the DSP/AMP, dual 7-inch ported sub, and harness for $699 at Crutchfield. Looks similar in concept to the OEM Audio+ which sells for $1199, but it doesn't include the tweeters and the Helix sub has dual 7's instead of a single 8 for the sub and the Helix has less power on the mainstage but more on the sub whereas the OEM Audio+ has more on the mainstage and less on the sub.

Also, the Helix is designed as a universal solution - just get the appropriate plug & play harness for your vehicle, download the specific DSP tune from their website, and you're off. The OEM Audio+'s sub enclosure will only work with the 86 (but it is a custom fit to the trunk, so that's an advantage as well).

I also saw that OEM Audio+ was teasing some pictures of their rear speaker upgrades last week, so it may be worth it to wait that out and see how much they charge for the upgraded system...

Here are links to the Helix components:

Wow, this seems much more reasonably priced... :) Hoping it is a comparable substitute.

I have been eyeing up this solution for weeks! Im glad someone else has finally noticed it. Helix is a great company from what I can tell and this DSP/Amp/Sub combo could be killer in our car. However: Helix has not yet done a preset for our car... meaning you would have to use either a TC sound stage or some other generic one...

I was looking into getting this system as I was browsing crutchfield.
I used their contact form to ask if they were working on the frs/brz presets and they replied that they had no plans to create a preset tune for the car.

If you're going to buy this for our car... It's not being supported by helix
