Thanks for posting this, I'll give it a shot when we get closer. Sounds good, nice drive for me on back roads in Northeastern Connecticut.

I'll try to make it work permitting.

I'd love to go but I'll be in Vegas working.

That would be really cool, there are some awesome roads leading to this meet. Just did a run last month with my Mustang club over the same roads to a cruise at the last A & W around here, just north of Johnston RI. The people who went are still talking about the route we took.

I'm about four cars ahead, leading the way.

The back roads are nice through CT. Hope to see you guys there. We usually get a good size crowd. Over 300 cars last year at goddard state park. Unfortunately we had to move since they gave us an issue with there being that many.

BadLuck 07-04-2013 09:07 PM

Its possible I could make that as well

Reminder...

Bumping this up so we (mostly me, my memory isn't what it used to be) don't forget about it. I really want to do this, weather permitting, because the roads leading to this meet are so much fun to drive. Besides, we need a few 86s there to represent!

CaptivaBlueTeg 07-21-2013 10:30 AM

Bump again. Hoping to see some of you guys and look forward to meeting you all.

Tough Month...

Was hoping to attend but now the weather isn't looking very good for Sunday. After the surprise flood damage in my neighborhood yesterday I don't dare. Even the dealership where I bought my FR-S was partly underwater. Some new cars in the lot got flooded... glad mine was already safe in my garage.

I'll monitor the weather reports tomorrow but as of now it's a no-go for me. Sorry, this would have been a great drive and meet. :(

I thought the weather was supposed to clear for the weekend?

Saturday yes, Sunday - who knows? Thursday was supposed to be beautiful with lower humidity - then it changed that morning to "chance of a few showers". But we got 7+ inches of rain instead that washed out part of my driveway and dug a ditch through my back yard. And we got away lucky - dozens of people lost their cars and everything in thier basements.

Holy cow!
