7440 Switchback issue
 

Hey guys, so I picked up these today.

5 minutes of the parking lights being turned on the white LEDs goes out. They come back on after 30 seconds or so, stay on for another minute then go out again (rinse and repeat). Both front markers are doing this at different intervals. It is pretty hot out today 100+ but i'm in the shade, is it possible they are simply over-heating or do they really need the in-line resistor?

VLEDs don't seem to mention a need nor do i see any issues using that brand.

Since you replaced the blinker relay under the dash that should've fixed any hyperflashing problems you might have, you don't need an inline resistor. I'd say contact the seller and maybe get an exchange, sounds like faulty bulbs to me.
