Crashed Twin in the Swiss Alps

Just saw this in the news

http://www.gr.ch/DE/institutionen/ve...201306291.aspx

Translation:
Driver lost control of the car on the Flüelen Pass-Road and fell about 25 meters off a cliff. Car immediately caught fire, however all 3 passengers where able to get out of the car. 2 "medium" injured, and one "heavy" injured.

Havent got more infos yet, however I think it speaks quiet a bit for the safety of the car that there where no fatal injured.

Ummm WOW! When I first saw the post I thought it was yours. I am glad everyone survived. You have to look close to see the lines of the car. It must be covered with foam fire retardant.

Lucky that everyone survived the 25 m drop. People often complain that cars are getting heavier and heavier, but if it means saving a life (or 3) then it's worth it.

Thanks for the worries, Wingo and myself are well. I acutally even was thinking on friday evening to go drive some passes, however weather was bad so I enjoyed a bad schwarzenegger movie on TV.

I hope aswell that the injured will get well soon, I think they are very lucky that they survived that crash. Falling off 25m cliff into rocky terrain could end alot worse.

wasnt sure first, but the small rear-side window and the wheels made it clear to me that it was one of the twins. However still unknow if a GT86 or a BRZ

How did they fit in 3 passengers?!? That's what's crazy, good they survived though.

These wheels seem to live through everything lol. All the crashes I've seen had the stock wheels intact. What the hell did Toyota make them out of? Lol
