Scion Service Boost
I know many people on here are moving towards the BRZ, but has anyone who didn't want all the bells and whistles move towards the FR-S due to the free service for the first two years or 25,000 miles?
With 7.5k OCI that's what - 4 filters and 20 gallons of oil? And 2 tire rotations. Is it really worth it? ;)
For me, this is not a factor whatsoever.
It's also roadside assistance I believe, which is useful if your insurance doesn't cover that.
I might end up switching to the FRS if the last dealership within 200 miles of me decides to screw me over and tack up a charge above MSRP after promising he wouldn't (and calling back to renege 10 minutes later after running my CC for a thousand bucks)
I'll find out more about what he plans to do tomorrow and whether a scion is in my future. As towards the oil change stuff? I've always done that myself, I see no appeal in getting it done for free, I'd rather know I'm doing it properly than waste 3 hours sitting around at the dealership waiting for them to do it and hope they haven't put the wrong oil filter on or something. |

Boost??!!!:thanks:
:burnrubber: |
I plan to do most of the maintenance myself to not really an issue for me.
Can't get it serviced there anyway since the nearest dealership is a couple hours away. I'd rather they gave me some cash back. :P
thats definitely one thing to consider. I didnt even know scion offered that. Thanks for the heads up
