What oil are you guys using? I'm getting ready to install my kit and haven't had a clear answer on what my best option is to replace the junk from the factory.

I am using Amsoil 0w20 Signature oil in mine with a Purolator Pure One filter.

I'm not doing any calculation for the "TRUE" mpg lol because I really don't care to much about gas. I wouldn't have tried to achieve high power levels if I did lol

Thanks, yeah was just looking for ballpark. I wouldn't care unless it took a huge hit.

I thought 0w20 was a bad idea for high performance applications because its purely designed for fuel economy?

It's going to be REALLY complicated for you to get a straight answer for this.... There is no real ONE oil is the best. It all depends on a lot of factors. If you really want to get into it, its a lot of reading and learning.

I am using Motul 0w-30.

While I admit that the reason both my Tundra and my BRZ run on 0w20 is for fuel economy reasons, the motor was also designed to run on that oil and while I have added a turbo and an oil cooler, I still feel like 0w20 is the correct solution for driving on the street. I like fuel mileage.
