in japan they sell a black piece of plastic that covers the middle of the lower portion of the bumper (too make it look open), but its about $300 WTF?!?!? If I can get an OEM like rear diffuser for $75 shipped, this should be like a $20 part. any aftermarket companies make one of these yet?

Haven't seen any but I would want one too... $300 is too steep. Have you looked at vinyl, either doing it yourself (would be cheap) or bringing it to a professional?

Plastidip.

$300! WTF! Why, is paint not sufficient? (or vinyl) A fool and his money are soon "Parted."

vinyl would be good. i like the look but that is TOO much money for a skimpy piece of plastic.

Touge86 06-26-2013 03:45 AM

Just plasti-dip it brosef.

yeah vinyl or plastidip is your best choices. both cost under $10.

id prefer vinyl but to get the best lines you need to buy knifeless tape for installing the vinyl. Plasti dip should be reletively easy to do but if you dont have any experience with dip, then you may need multiple tries to get a good smooth clean job.

I would be interested in something like this too, the only one I have seen is on Ebay and ships from Japan.

Need to do this, but my reason would be to hide the chips and scrapes lol

That OEM JDM front garnish is RIDICULOUSLY over priced, my money is going to go to the people and parts that aren't trying to gouge the hell out of 86 owners on parts since we have the new "tuner" car on the block. This is the one thing that annoys me about this car, everything is OVERPRICED!!

Sorry, rant over lol

yes i agree with everyone else. plasti-dip works wonders!
