My BeSpoke featuring Aha Touchscreen Radio
3 Attachment(s)
This is what I needed to for this set up:
Touchscreen base radio 2014 Part number PT54600140 BeSpoke Aha GPS module PT29600140 GPS works great so far. Will test more tomorrow when I make my way around town. Bluetooth audio using iPhone 5 Pandora displayed album art on the three songs that I played Aha just showed the radio preset art/logo but not playing song album art. iTunes radio was hit and miss with album art on the four songs I played iPhone 5 connected with USB cable Aha was loading very slow but it was due to my iPhone jumping off my wifi network and LTE in my driveway. Went for a drive and it was very quick when changing presets. FB reads your news feed at a very understandable voice. Will play with CD player tomorrow and more GPS. So far I'm happy but a little pricey set up but I wanted to keep the OEM look. :happy0180: |
How much total and where did you order?
|
I got them at dealer price through my employer. Posting that price would not be fair. It was still a pretty penny but let's say that the combo that jacobzking had for sale was taxes plus $45 cheaper than what I paid.
Just wanted to post to give an idea on functionality. I driven many entune equipped vehicles and let's say that aha so far is pleasantly less complicated and surprisingly it works. Again, I used entunes with an iphone 4 and it's slower data speeds. I also just noticed that Aha has a lot of shoutcast streams - that's a huge plus with me! :party0030: |
Have you been able to browse through your music on Bluetooth using your iPhone 5?
|
I'm a little confused with the new setup. Do you need a smartphone to have GPS like the 2013 model or is it an actual navi headunit with iPhone app capabilities?
|
What exactly is Aha?
|
Ugh, I want this and I'm willing to shell out coin for it, but it just attracts thieves to start prying at my car. At least the stock barrel-bottom radio is ugly and unattractive to thieves.
|
I do not use my iPhone as an iPod but will throw a few songs to test. When I say iTunes Radio is their beta of a system like pandora.
No need for smartphone for GPS, is a true GPS. www.aharadio.com - pretty cool the more I explore it. In my 07 truck when I bought it I had two kenwood double din GPS units stolen. Then my cousin got a job at a Ford dealership and hooked me up with an oem GPS and never had problems again. My theory is that thieves see oem and move on since it's hard to resell. That is just my guess but dam crackheads will steal anything. |
