Yep I stretched the stock tires. I noticed no difference in ride quality. I still want to lower it a bit more. But for now this combo works for me. Once we get to SoCal in a few months I will be going with 18's. But I wanted to see what was possible using the stock rubber. http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q...ps90613b35.jpg http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q...ps7fcb0e73.jpg http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q...ps471fde90.jpg http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q...ps7552be8c.jpg http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q...ps2c0d2281.jpg http://i139.photobucket.com/albums/q...ps8fd7c8b7.jpg |
:/
not quite .. but I assume you're waiting and will get larger tires? |
Not for these rims no. For the new ones sure. But I saw very little reason to not use these tires up for drifting. At that point I will decide what to do.
At best case I would still put only a 225 on these. |

...belay my last lol. I actually ran these on my favorite S13 before I (stupidly) sold it....

Those tires ruin it.

A few photos I took yesterday. Tow hook is actually being returned. I figure I should probably have a license plate frame...

yeah that really doesn't work. stretched tires are no good unless you require them for a fit.
I am running much lower and with 18x9.5's ... I had 235/40 18 stretched a bit and it was terrible. Went up to 255/35 and it looks proper |
It would probably look better with +25 or +20
