Vette-Powered BRZ by Weapons Grade

Didn't see this on the forums yet, thought it was pretty neat!

There are several before, during and after threads. But the search function won't allow three letter words like GTO, WGP or BRZ.

This is a GTO lump in a BRZ. It was at Wicked Big Meet most recently.

I wonder what the difference in weight is? I can't even imagine what the driving characteristics of this car would be! Install looks very professional though, props!

I'd imagine you might as well grease up your tires for the same effect lol.

Normally I don't give a flying fornication about corvettes, but holy crap I wanna see what that can do!

As much as I get tired of Chevy fan boys saying LS motors are the best ever, they do run pretty strong for the most part.

sweet !

I saw this a while back. Looks very cool, I remember reading the kits would range from ~$4k for a basic kit to ~$9k for an upgraded kit (with cooling, etc.) for track days.

Can't say I'm not interested ;)

LS motors definitely are the best ever.

...Best lightweight, cheap(ish), v8 swap, for those of us in USA at least. Not to mention bulletproof.

I read it only adds ~60lbs. of weight and the people that drove it said it doesn't mess with the cornering dynamics (other than a shit ton of extra power).

Here's some more details I found of the kit (this is the original post I saw): http://www.reddit.com/r/cars/comment...ed_subaru_brz/

needs a windshield decal that says:
'ASHAMED OF BOXER'

I pretty much hate all American cars but even I can admit the LSx motors are pretty much the best things since sliced bread. For it's size it's really really light! If 'Murica can get something right it's a goddamned powerplant.

Brz v8 swap!

Yes please! I would love to do this! :bonk:

The 9 large does not include the motor or a tremec 6060

Curb weight up to about 3050 lbs, give or take a few. Weight distribution pushed to 56/44, from stock 53/47. HP is over double, and torque is tripled over stock.
