Been waiting for this. Since it's EVO I'm assuming they will end up hating the 86 and talking up the Ford.

Not as bad as I expected.

Fwiw the Fiesta ST comes with Bridgestone Potenza RE050A (140/A/A) in a 205/45/17. A pretty sticky tire in comparison to those on the twins.

Fiesta looks like a fun car, gonna go test drive one later :P

Slap on the same rubber on the GT86 and I'm sure it will beat the Fiesta.

Can't bring a drift car to challenge a more-adequately equipped "race" car.

How can he get a decent timed lap when all he did was slide the GT86. Same set of tires then we'll talk.

lot of time car manufactures cheat with minor things like tires, stiffer sways/struts, massive camber, and etc to get that extra second in the lap times. Which means it doesn't have much room for improvement in the future. And it is the same in this case. wider and sticker tire with little more camber up front will shave off 2 seconds in the track with 86 without a problem. i'm sure ST is maxed out as far as its specs go, just like ST focus comes with sticky 245 wide tires from the factory.
