TRD Intake no longer available?
 

So I just checked the Canadian Scion website to "build my FR-S" to calculate payments since the rate dropped by 1% (YAY!!) but saw that when I went to add the intake, it was no longer available. There's no mention of it anywhere on the Canadian website anymore, which was there before as I've added that as an option on the website many times before.

Is the intake no longer available to Canadian customers anymore? I'd hate to hear that's the case, since I was going to get my FR-S at the end of this week. :(

I wondered the same thing. It is still available on the U.S. website, but, for some reason there is no love for Canadians.

have you tried talking to the dealers directly?

It could be that it is out of stock. I'll check once I'm at work today.

I got my FR-S about 6 weeks ago in Ottawa. Purachased it with the TRD intake, and was informed after delivery that it was back ordered and should be here sometime in July...

Can't wait for the extra 20hp 20lbft.. :lol:

Looks like it is out of stock, but more should be arriving late this week or early next.

Same with me. Picked up my FR-S 3 weeks ago and ordered the TRD intake at the same time.. the dealer said there are 500 on backorder and they should be here in late July...which I think means...probably later then that. If it takes too long I'm gonna ask for a refund on the intake and go buy the Injen one.. This is BS.

So I won't be able to get one as part of my lease now because it's on back order?
Or will they still work it into my payments, but just have me come and get it installed once it arrives?
Maybe that would be better in a way, that way I'll actually be able to experience any difference from stock to TRD.

I doubt they would work anything into your payments after you drive it off the lot. But it could be different at different dealers. Can't hurt to try.

Got mine included in the financing and will have to go to the dealership once it comes in to get it installed.
