Firestorm-Yoshihara DY-12C 18x9 black

Here is a teaser of my firestorm with Yoshihara DY-12C wheels in black. 18x9, +40 offset. This fits stock suspension, with NO rubbing/grinding etc. My car is NOT lowered, but in the picture it is. I am currently running 245/40/18 Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tires.

I will update here later with more pictures/more detailed wheel shots

Can't believe you're not dropped! Would you say an 18 fills the wheelwell nicely with out a drop? I've been thinking about getting a mild set of springs with my wheels but might not have to.

Oh lol
Taking calls and messing around on forums throws reading comprehension out of the window. :bonk:

Looks like quite a nice fit though. Wonder what it's lowered on to give it the decent stance.

the 18's plus 245/40/18 do fill the wells quite nicely. I'll post a non-modified photo of the car later this evening, so you can see what it looks like on stock suspension. Can was lowered through photoshop!

I think a 1-1.5" drop would be perfect. I plan on using hotchkis springs, I had them on my last car with great success.

so nice.. are you ok getting around san diego streets ? seems like its not that low stance thing that everyone is doing.. yours looks like a just the right amount of low and the wheel size is nice with some beef on the sidewall tires to help with them crazy pot holes we get here..

Whoa, sorry for the long delay, its been a busy week for me.

Anyway, here is an unmodified photo, all I did was crop this to be similar to the original!

Stock image is TOP photo, modified/lowered image is botttom!

I have zero issues on SD streets. See above for the ride height that I'm really at. I do generally try and avoid pot holes(I mean, who doesn't) but it doesn't feel too jarring if you hit one. My last car was pretty low, so its engraved in my head to hit any driveways/bumps etc at an angle. However, the few that I have hit head on haven't scrapped. My wife still laughs everytime I go sideways through a dip, but I'm not changing my ways lol since I will lower this car(as mentioned before, probably about 1"-1.5"). I want a lowered car, but I still want my suspension to work well/have enough travel.

Any chance we could see more pics? Front view/flushness/rear view etc...

I'm putting money aside for new shoes, and these guys are high on my list but I'd like to see more, if you'd indulge us.

That wheel gap still looks pretty minimal even without a drop, looks good!

Ill try and snap a few shots over the weekend to show wheel gap etc. photos don't lie, but after my buddy saw the car in person he didnt think the gap was as big as it shows up in photos(that I texted to him)

Bumping my own request for more pics of your setup!
