Most unusual place for a Subaru logo

What is the most unusual place that you have found a Subaru logo on your FR-S?

I was most surprised to find it on the dampers that hold the trunk open.

Behind the "Scion" wheel caps.

What's the difference, it's not like Subaru makes any if the parts anyway.

Almost every part on the car is labeled Subaru.

Why would Toyota stamp Subaru on something they made?

Can't tell if troll or doesn't know? Too early. Coffee hasn't taken effect yet.

Guys that's an assembly plant, not a parts manufacturing plant. Different suppliers make all of the parts that have "Subaru" stamped on them.

I worked for Denso for 8 years, I know how assembly plants and part production works. So no trolling here.

Behind my FR-S emblem.

It's normal. Made in China is stamped on many items it doesn't mean China owns everything. It just means they are the manufacturer. Apple outsources their manufacturer process and many companies do too. It's a smart economical move to cut cost and use existing resources. Plus Toyota owns Subaru. Like Mr.Tada said, "It's part of the Toyota family."

Wo6M 06-24-2013 12:48 PM

Toyota owns 16.5% of Subaru, not the whole thing...

Ok, thanks for the info on where, why, how the parts are produced but can we stay on topic? Maybe tell the others the "Most unusual place for a Subaru logo."?
