Even with the wind noise and wrx sounds, it was still pretty distinctive. Sounded good, thanks for the vid.

You can do intake and exhaust... Warranty can only be voided if they can prove the mod caused the problem...like if you put lowering springs on and blow a shock the warranty will not cover the shock... Dealer may give a hard time but a quick call to Subaru fixes that

Thats what ive got. Cant listen now, but what size is the exhaust piping? I think mine is 3". You can hear mine in the youtube thread, when i went to the dragstrip

And is it the resonated or non-resonated perrin version? Thanks!

Have you noticed any loss in power at high speeds after fitting the header. Im getting like a starvation feeling in 6th gear from 140km/h.

what RPM are you at? (sorry, keep mine in MPH, so I don't accidentally go too fast). I haven't noticed any loss of power at speed, but i'm not going much beyond 80mph.

edit: yay daft punk

Ryan86 06-24-2013 04:08 AM

Between 5000 to 6000 rpm

wrxgoose 06-24-2013 04:12 AM

Yah, I haven't noticed anything, but next time I go to my friend's shop, i'll ask him to toss it on the dyno so we can see.

also, here's what mine sounds like. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zVVyJMcVWD8"]1992 Mustang GT vs. Scion FR-S Mooresville Dragway - YouTube[/ame] (sorry, I know I've posted it before, but I've got the same headers and exhaust you do, though mine are 3", so it's just another chance for people to hear what it sounds like.)

sorry for the randomness, but I've been awake way too long, and i'm now cooking ribs, though it's 3AM

Nope car is significantly fast than stock all around....tq dip is virtually gone :). I'm also running the fa20 club e85 tune.
