Trouble With Lights
 

I had the body ECM replaced because the passenger courtesy light would not go out. I now have the following problems:

- no daytime running lights and they don't turn on when I put on the parking lights. The only time they are on is with the high beams which is not supposed to happen (I think).

Can someone confirm that the daytime running lights are supposed to come on when driving in daylight and with the parking lights on. And they should not be on with the high beams.

Have a BRZ limited with manual. Thank you.

Same thing happened to me. My drl won't turn on ever since they fixed my door courtesy lights.

Di you notice if they turn on with the high beams?

You are correct. The boomerang DRLs only come on in the day if you have parking lights on, or have manually turned on your full lights.

Not sure what you mean by boomerang DRLs. My DRLs only come on with the high beam now.

My DRL don't even turn on at all. Bringing it to the dealership tomorrow.

He's talking about the LEDs above the fogs, not the parking light.

I am talking about the bar lights above the fog lights. The owner's manual refers to those as the daytime running lights. Mine only come on with the high beams.
