Don't forget about sport mode
 

I've had my car a few months now and I was feeling a little underwhelmed with the cars performance. I pushed the sport button and was reminded of how that really livens up the spirit of the car. Time to go for a drive.

Im pretty sure vsc sport mode on a manual does nothing for the power of the car, only lets u slide a little more

I think he is talking about the sport mode on the Automatic transmission which holds the lower gear for longer before shifting.

Yeah, sport mode doesn't do much of anything on my car. Even for traction, there isn't much difference. You have to turn it all the way off for some fun :)

LOL. The AT is gramma style without sport mode. Wait...

Manual mode is fine too (for what it is), but the biggest problem with the AT isn't the way it shifts, it's the gearing. 3000 RPM on AT is 91 MPH in 6th, that's a pretty big difference.

Even with all the nannies off it still limits what the car can do which is frustrating sometimes!! Pedal dance is the best way to really drive the car imo especially on track!!

i can hit 90mph at 7400 rpm at the top 3rd gear! but the 5th and 6th gear are so weak

6th gear is irrelevant for performance driving...

I wish I had a bit more torque like a 220 HP 180 tq rated 2.2l with 6th at about 2800 at 80mph.

The rest of the manual gearing is fine.
