dude thank you much for your help! my buddy that was helping me with wiring said your instructions were very good and the pictures also helped for the installation of the pins. gotta admit the usdm pins are a pain compared to teh jdm ones! the DRL are perfect and work as they are supposed to! thank you!

only thing I will mention is that if you have a vortech kit and a perrin oil cooler. the driver side is going to be a pain in the ass with the reservoir that comes with the vortech kit. all i'm saying is it's gonna be squished a bit haha. also the oil lines need to be moved over towards the center to make everything work. the passenger side is gravy!

I'm glad I could help out. I remember how overwhelmed I felt at first with the lights as well.

It's funny that you bring that up about the supercharger because I am getting one installed on the 23rd of July and I was wondering about that. Thanks for the heads up.

Very welcome dude! So the reservoir that comes with the vortech is kinda squished by the ballast on the bottom of the headlights. Well very squished hahahha. Also used a radiator hose to extend the base because the lip going into the vortech reservoir was preventing the headlight from going in. The headlight had to be slightly forced in hahaha. If you do get a Perrin oil cooler you absolutely must move the lines over to the center as much as possible or the leveling system will not clear and the headlight won't even be close to going in. Shit was a pain!! Lol

Excellent work on this! I am getting ready to purchase BRZ headlamps for FRS. I have searched far and wide for instructions/feedback about wiring. Wondering if it is the same as the GT86 lamps. If anyone has some info or knows of anyone that has done the BRZ headlamp swap. Please give me some quick feedback. I already know the FRS does not have an available plug for the manual headlamp leveling switch (I checked already). That will not be an issue/mandatory.

So the last time I checked, 86 headlights were going for 1100.00 each. Is that still the case or are the more reasonable now?

Depending on edm and jdm, price does differ. They are about 1300 to 1400

Same as GT86 wiring except for the green wire in this DIY is a white wire on the 10 series light. And theres no 7th wire to splice into the resistor plug. SUper easy. Did mine last night in about an hour!
