How big of a turn out do you think we would get? I know the actual Fest is Huge, no? I have not been! It looks massive tho!

I will be in San Bernardino for little league through Aug 10, so Im gonna head over there since Im close by already.

Please dont make a competing event JR. You could make it like the week after, but it would suck to make people choose. I want to spend as much time at different meets as possible so 2 the same weekend for the same forum would really suck.

Definitely we can make it on a different date. Haha.

I'm going to 86 Fest and the DDA out in SoCal and since Moto is planning another one the day after Spocom I'll be in LA for both, so July 13-14 and Aug 10-11. So if we have another meet in July for NorCal can it not be that weekend please?! I'd love to go!

July? lol. Too many meets that month. Canepa Drive and Blox open house July 13. Initial D reunion and Wekfest July 27.Then 86 Fest Aug 10-11. I vote for Aug 17 or later for logistics sake.

Hmmmn. OK so even without our action there is going to be a conflict of events on August 10. NorCal 86 Festival at One Toyota, and 86 Fest in SoCal. So we need to decide which event we want to organize around. The NorCal event is AE86 and old-school Toyota oriented, whereas the SoCal event will be more FR-S/BRZ/86 oriented. NorCal is one day (Sat 8PM), whereas SoCal is 2-day event (Sat & Sun). I do think we need to poll the regulars here, and see what everyone wants to do! Sadly I do think we will get split up somewhat, sounds like some have already planned to do one or the other. :(

I just noticed on the 86Fest site that they have a logo, that one of the promotional partners for 86Fest is NorCal FR-S. A logo that looks very similar to the SoCal FR-S. Does anybody know who that is??? Is there another NorCal club out there just like us that we didn't even know about? Haha or maybe just I don't know about. I know there are a few other rival forums/sites but I do believe FT86Club is the largest of them. Just kind of funny if there is some bizarro-world group of guys just like us out there though, representing NorCal.
