I am going from a brz premium to a brz limited soon, and I think I'm gonna have to replace the crappy head unit with something better. I'm considering this: http://www.crutchfield.com/p_113DNX6...-DNX690HD.html

I want a capacitive touch screen experience, I want hd radio, excellent built in navigation with free traffic updates, I also want pandora control through the head unit no Bluetooth calling, voice commands would be nice but not a requirement. What do you think?

Grabbed the first DVD I could to show the "quality" of the screen. I like it, Bluetooth an all that jazz. I use Siri to make all my calls via the Bluetooth when driving.

Do you have a backup camera? How does the system sound with stock speakers after the head unit swap? I'd really like a camera especially since I have to back my brz into a tight hangar frequently. . .

Installing my back up cam next week. I have it all wired just not Hooke up. And I installed a Boston G3 10in sub too. Honestly sounds really good.

Has held up with me well, I believe there's a newer model now
I needed a HU with a knob. Audio quality seems better but I'm not an audiophile so my ears aren't as attuned. Great equalizer adjustability though

thanks, agree, I myself is not too used to all these newer models without a knob.

Soundstream from Crutchfield with Navibox-2. I also installed an expensive but surprisingly decent rear view camera. The pics I took aren't so great and don't do the unit's display any justice. It's bright and sharp, even the view out the camera.
